Your Bib

Race
Number

Your race bib is individual to you and cannot be resold or transferred. Your bib number is prefixed with a letter corresponding to your start pen, allocated by your predicted finish time. Please fill in the emergency details on the reverse before race day — running in someone else's bib means we may be unable to identify you or your next of kin correctly in an emergency.

⚠️ Never run in someone else's bib. Your bib is individual to you and cannot be transferred or resold. If you run under someone else's name, our medical and timing teams hold the wrong information — in an emergency we may be unable to identify you or contact your next of kin, and your result will not be valid. If you can no longer take part, please do not pass your bib on to anyone else.

🚨 Event Emergency Number: This number is printed on your bib. Use it in the event of an emergency on race day ONLY — whether you need urgent help on course or are trying to reach event control.
Saucony Run Shoreditch Half 2026 race bib — race number, name box, event emergency number and tear-off baggage tags

Your bib carries your race number, a name box to write your name in, the event emergency number, and two tear-off tags at the bottom — the reclaim tag (keep it on your bib) and the baggage label (attach it to your bag). Fill in your emergency details on the reverse before race day. The QR code on your bib is for internal use only.

⚠️ Important — collection times are NOT the store's opening hours. The Saucony Store may be open at other times, but race pack collection is only available during the specific windows below. Please do not arrive outside these windows — you will not be able to collect.

Friday 18 September12:00 – 19:00
Saturday 19 September10:00 – 17:30

Bring photo ID and your QR code (sent during event week). Collection is not available on race day. A friend can collect on your behalf with a copy of your ID.

Postage
By Fri 18 Sep

If you opted for postage, your bib could arrive any time from 4 weeks before the race up until Friday 18 September. We cannot track your bib. If it has not arrived by Friday 18 September, visit the Saucony Store on Saturday to collect a replacement.

Finisher T-Shirt
Check Your Bib

At registration we asked whether you wanted a finisher's t-shirt. Your bib indicates whether you opted in or out — you will only receive a t-shirt at the finish line if you opted for one. If you opted out, your bib will be predominantly yellow rather than black.

Your timing chip is attached to your race bib. Do not remove, bend, fold or cover it. If your chip arrives bent in the post, visit the Help Desk on Sunday morning for a replacement.

At the bottom of your bib are two tear-off tags. The bottom tag is your baggage label — attach it to your bag before you arrive. The top tag is your reclaim tag — keep it attached to your bib during the run and hand it to baggage staff to collect your bag quickly.

Bag Drop opens at 07:30 and closes at 14:00. Your race number determines your baggage bay. One small bag only — large suitcases will not be accepted. Please collect your bag as soon as you finish your race.

Write your name on the front of your bib so spectators can cheer you on by name. Please bring your own safety pins. Top tip: come race ready with your bib already secured to the front of your running top.

Travel

Getting
There

Thousands of runners and supporters will be heading to Shoreditch Park on Sunday morning. Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time. We strongly recommend public transport — the area is exceptionally well served, and with roads closing from 06:00 it will make your morning much smoother.

Rail and Tube

The closest stations to Shoreditch Park:

  • Hoxton — London Overground (~9 min walk)
  • Haggerston — London Overground (~12 min walk)
  • Old Street — Northern line / National Rail (~14 min walk)

Services will be very busy on race morning. Aim to arrive at the Event Village no later than 08:30 to allow time to drop your bag, warm up and get to the start line. Look out for signage from the station exits.

Bus and Road

Local bus services may be subject to diversions from early morning due to road closures. Check tfl.gov.uk for updates in the week before the event.

Roads close from 06:00

Do not approach via roads on the race route — they will be closed well ahead of the start. Please check the TfL and National Rail websites in the week before for any planned disruptions.

Road closure map →
Cycling

There are no specific cycle parking facilities for the event. Santander Cycle docking stations along the race route will be suspended and unavailable on the day.

E-Bikes

A number of e-bike hubs will be available on event day. It will not be possible to park e-bikes outside of these designated hubs.

On event morning, please check your e-bike provider's app for the designated parking locations.

A-Z Information

On The
Route

Starting and finishing in Shoreditch Park (N1 6TA), the route takes you through some of East London's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Highlights include Hoxton Street Market, Regent's Canal (crossed twice), Newington Green, Clissold Park, Stoke Newington and De Beauvoir Town.

Aid Stations
StationProvisionDistance (mi)
1Water cups + refill3.5
2Water cups + refill6.5
3Energy gels [*gel provider]8.3
4Water bottles8.8
5Water cups + refill11.1

Five aid stations on the course. All have accessible toilets. Please dispose of cups in the bins placed just after each station, take one cup at a time, and if you are not stopping keep to the opposite side of the road.

All clothing left behind in the start pens will be donated to local charities.

Look out for volunteers in their pink hi-vis positioned along the route and at key turning points. They will be cheering you on and are there to help with directions for runners and spectators.

In the event of an emergency, runners will be asked to move to the left side of the road to allow access for an emergency vehicle. Please follow any instructions given by course marshals at all times.

There will be medical staff situated throughout the route. A medical centre is also located shortly after the finish line. If you feel unwell during the race, please stop and find your nearest race marshal or aid station.

Knowing what to take on board — and when — makes a real difference over 13.1 miles.

Energy gels will be provided on course at Aid Station 3 (8.3 miles).

We strongly suggest running without headphones — not only to soak up the incredible atmosphere, but to ensure you can hear any important safety announcements from marshals.

The itab plus is a precision-engraved medal insert and medal hanger combo, positioning your custom name and finish time proud and centre stage directly above your Saucony Run Shoreditch medal.

You didn't train this hard to hide your results. Mark the moments that matter with this sleek and stylish keepsake that turns endurance into identity. Simply select the itab plus in your event registration.

You will receive your pre-purchased itab plus in the post 2–3 weeks after race day. Didn't add one before race day? You can still order one at makeitpersonal.io post event.

Each mile will be clearly marked on the route.

Our friendly photographers at Marathon Photos will be taking your pictures on course and at the finish line. Look out for the "smile for the camera" signs and give them a wave. We will send a pre-race email with a link to invite friends and family to view your photos as you run, plus a post-race email with a link to purchase your photos.

The cut-off time is 3.5 hours from the last starter. The last starter is expected at around 09:45, which puts the cut-off at 13:15. Any runners predicted to finish after the cut-off may be asked to move to the pavement so that we can get Shoreditch moving again. The sweep team will be there to support everyone through to the end, and you will still receive a medal at the finish.

We have a fantastic line-up of live entertainment positioned all along the route. Run without headphones to soak up the atmosphere and hear any safety announcements. Confirmed acts:

  • Pantonic
  • Hosen Brass Band
  • London International Gospel Choir
  • Mildmay Choir
  • DJ Chrystalize
  • Tune Trucks
  • Drumworks

Results will be posted on the Saucony Run Shoreditch website after the race. If you entered a mobile number at registration, you will also receive a text with your official race time when you finish.

Live tracking is also available in the Saucony Run Shoreditch App — but please note that app results are not official. Always use the results webpage for your chip time and final position.

Throughout the planning of the Saucony Run Shoreditch Half, we have been working closely with the Metropolitan Police Service to keep everyone safe and secure. Security staff and police officers are positioned at all key areas and around the entire course. If you see anything unusual, please report it immediately to the nearest member of event staff, volunteer or security team.

Sanitary products are available at the Help Desk in the Event Village. Please ask any member of staff or volunteer if you need assistance.

Your timing chip is attached to your race bib. Do not remove, bend, fold or cover it. If your chip arrives bent in the post, visit the Help Desk on Sunday morning for a replacement.

Toilet facilities are available in Shoreditch Park. There are accessible toilets at every aid station on the course.

Once runners cross the start line, family, friends and fans can track participants in the official Saucony Run Shoreditch App — available to download approximately one week before the event on App Store and Google Play.

Runners may not appear in the tracker until just before the race starts. Search using your race number digits only.

We encourage you to bring a running water bottle. You are able to refill your bottle at all water cup stations (not at energy gel or bottle points), with a refill point also in the Event Village.

Pacers

A team of pacers will join you in the start pens and out on the route to support and encourage you. Look out for their pacer flags. Our pacers are volunteers from local community running groups. There will be at least two pacers per time from 1:30 through to run/walk pace.

You made it

At The
Finish

You made it — keep moving through the finish funnel to keep the line clear for runners behind you. Here is what happens next.

1
Keep Moving

Keep walking through the finish funnel to keep the line clear for runners coming through behind you. Do not stop immediately after the line.

2
Medical Help

If you feel unwell or need assistance, medical staff will be on hand throughout the finish area. Let a volunteer or marshal know and they will direct you straight away.

3
Medal & Goody Bag

Collect your finisher medal and goody bag as you walk through the finish funnel. Every finisher receives a medal, regardless of finish time.

4
Finisher T-Shirt

If you opted in for a finisher t-shirt at registration, collect it at the finish line. Please only pick up the size you chose — taking the wrong size means other finishers may miss out on theirs.

5
Collect Your Bag

If you used bag drop, collect your bag as soon as you can after finishing. Have your reclaim tag (attached to your bib) ready for the baggage staff. Bag drop closes at 14:00.

6
Meet Your Supporters

Shoreditch Park will be very busy around the finish. Arrange a specific meeting point with friends and family before race day — do not rely on phone signal near the park, as it can be limited with large crowds.

7
Celebrate

Stick around and soak up the post-race vibes in Shoreditch Park — food vendors, partners, exhibitors and a great atmosphere await. Share your moments using #RunShoreditch or tag @runshoreditch. You earned this.

Lost property: Located at the Help Desk in Shoreditch Park, closing at 14:00. Items are held for one month after the event — if you think you have left something behind, please get in touch with us.

A lively market street near the end of the race — brilliant energy to carry runners through the final push back to Shoreditch Park. Nearest station: Hoxton (Overground).
